SCHTrust may gather and store personally identifiable information that you provide to us, directly or indirectly, about yourself or others, such as name, address, email, telephone numbers, and credit and debit card numbers. Financial information is used to bill you for memberships or donations. Contact information is generally used to send acknowledgements of memberships or donations, and communicate with you about the Trust. We will utilize your contact information only if necessary to verify your membership data or resolve any issues related to your Trust membership.
Unless required by law or expressly or impliedly authorized or consented to by you, SCHTrust will disclose personally identifiable information about you only as follows: The Trust may employ others to perform certain functions on our behalf. Examples include operating and maintaining our website, taking donations, sending mail and email, and processing credit card payments. SCHTrust will provide personally identifiable information about you to such other companies and individuals only to the extent it is necessary or appropriate for them to perform the functions that we retain them to perform. SCHTrust will not sell your personal contact information to any third parties.
All online transactions involving your credit card number are received and processed using an authorized Data Payment Service. All credit card and merchant account information is stored in secured data centers maintained in accordance with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS). If SCHTrust becomes aware that a breach or potential breach of security has occurred involving your personally identifiable information, we will take prompt action to investigate the situation, remediate to the extent remediation is necessary, appropriate, effective or otherwise required by law, and notify you about any breach of your personal information that has occurred if required to do so by applicable law.
If you give us your email or address, we may send you emails, publications or other information about the Trust. If at any time you do not wish to receive communications from us, you may contact us (using methods below) to instruct us to remove you from our mailing and/or email lists. You may also request we correct any information we have about you.
